Magazine Training

 Day one of training involved magazine training Anne.

It took a total of 18 out of 20 minutes to magazine train her and only one day.

We knew she was magazine trained when she began associating the light with when she pressed the lever and received a treat. Also when she knew pressing the lever caused her to receive a treat. I noticed she was really quick to figure out pressing the lever and where the treats were but she did not associate the light at first she was focused on the sound of the treat dropping and where the treat came from.

It was somewhat like the book said, specifically how important the timing of reinforcement is. It went pretty much the way we discussed it in class. Patience is key.
